ERROR

When attempting to pan and tilt using the middle mouse button and ctrl + middle mouse button, the model moves very choppy or not at all.  Zoom works fine. 

Software & Version

This error occurred when using Discovery 2021 R2, but internal experience says it's occurred once or twice in other products over the years as well.

Description/Cause

While not common, we've experienced a compatibility issue with some mice that cause this issue. We don't know the exact cause.  The specific models we've experienced this with are:

• Logitech Wireless Mouse Model M525
• Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5050 (Keyboard/Mouse Combo)

Solution

• Use a different mouse, preferably a wired USB mouse when testing.
• If this doesn't resolve the issue, we recommend updating your Graphics drivers from the manufacture website, however, this was not the solution for the exact error described in this article.
